The current revolution in the Internet is Twitter.Today, a new revolution coming from Google called wave.
It will be available this year.

what is wave?
A wave is equal parts conversation and document. People can communicate and work together with richly formatted text, photos, videos, maps, and more.
A wave is shared. Any participant can reply anywhere in the message, edit the content and add participants at any point in the process. Then playback lets anyone rewind the wave to see who said what and when.
A wave is live. With live transmission as you type, participants on a wave can have faster conversations, see edits and interact with extensions in real-time.

I am really excited to see how Google Wave and Online Education work with one another. I think it will open up some major communication channels and cross institution communication. I think telecommuting will get some credibility with Google Wave too. I'm stoked for it's release.
Google Wave will revolutionize how organizations and social networking sites allow users to communicate. I, for one, cannot wait.
