One of the first signs to look for to determine if you are doing a good job of engaging your readers is to start by analyzing the quality of comments that are posted by your readers. Readers who are thoroughly engaged often take the time to post relevant and high-quality comments to your posts.

The second sign to look for when analyzing whether your readers are engaged are not is to determine how many of your readers are responding directly to questions you post. If your readers are not responding to your questions or requests for feedback or information, you should consider that a sign that your readers are not engaged by your posts.
