The entire experience of a product doesn’t end with the product itself – it starts from the moment you receive the package. The packaging of a product can change how you perceive it – and it’s one of the reasons why Apple focuses so heavily on beautiful packaging when you receive one of their MacBooks or iPhones. Putting thought, care and attention into the presentation of a product can ultimately lead to unexpectedly delighting your customers.
Some companies put a huge amount of thought into the design of their product packaging, and I wanted to share some of my favourite examples. These companies have all hired designers to spend hours, days and weeks on making sure that each customer has a positive experience from the outset of them handling their product. Each of these designs are beautifully crafted, elegant and refined, and all help to make the product stand out and look stunning.
