Most of the plugins didn’t meet my need for an easy to modify plugin that only offers a template tag and styles, so i wrote my own light weight one. I don’t add it to wp-extend repository, so the repository can be found at github: https://github.com/franz-josef-kaiser/Easy-Pagination-Deamon
pagination give more functionality in our blog…Instead of browsing older and newer button,we can just jump to the old page based on the range set.

Thank you for this post I have been using WP PageNavi on a new theme in the most recent update of wordpress and really need to find an alternative. Since i’m using custom perma-links I will have a to try a few to get one that works smooth enough for me to use. Thanks again.

My favorite paginator is Paginator3000. I use it on my Kulture, it makes it faster and easier to scroll through and select pages.
